At Short & Company, CPA, P.L.C., we provide a full range of auditing, accounting, tax and management services to individuals and businesses of all sizes. We have become one of the leading CPA firms in Central Iowa by combining our strong professional training and years of local experience.
John M. Short founded a sole proprietorship on November 1, 1988 in Adel, Iowa. In February of 1992, Chris D. Oberreuter joined the firm as an employee. He became a partner on November 1, 1993, and the firm became known as Short & Oberreuter, CPA, P.L.C. In January 2001, Ron Stallman joined the firm. He became a partner on October 1, 2001. The firm then changed its name to Short & Company, CPA P.L.C.
Although we take pride in our collective history, we are more enthusiastic about what the future holds for us. By helping each client reach their business goals and maximum potential, we are accomplishing our own goal and ultimate business philosophy - "Our Goal is Client Success".
